"I would give this book 6 out of 5 stars if I could! This is a beautiful book. It's short and it's simple and best of all it's IMPORTANT. An awesome lesson of diversity and equality for kids. (And grownups!)"

“A relatable story for any child or adult for that matter who has been teased or laughed at because of a particular characteristic.
Since the shapes experienced unkind treatment in their home areas, they band together in search of a place which will accept them as they are. They do, and the citizens of this new area welcome the new shapes.
This offers a good lesson to young children about being kind to others ignoring whatever feature may make someone different.
Learning about geometric shapes along the way is a plus. Personally, I'm a rhombus in a land of circles.”~ Scott Willis

“The Magic Sphere tells the story of Steven Star who bullies other shapes in Shapeland. Since he knows he's different, he lashes out at others.
Indomitable, the shapes, sans Star, happen upon a beautiful Sphere with portals in different shapes. None can enter as they cannot fit. The shapes convince Steven Star to try, and he succeeds in revealing the magic sphere.
Because of his perceived difference, Steven Star believed he was incapable of opening the sphere. The others encouraged him despite his treatment of them. After doing what his colleagues could not, Steven Star viewed his difference as a useful positive. The shapes of Shapeland will have future adventures working together.”~ Scott Willis

“The fun continues in Shapeland! Kids will love coloring and much more in this fun activity book. Familiar characters are sure to bring smiles while reinforcing basic geometry skills. This is the perfect companion to the Adventures in Shapeland series! Thoughtfully constructed with pages that won’t bleed through. Learning really can be fun!“
