About Shannon Rice
Shannon Rice is the mother of four beautiful children. Her oldest daughter was diagnosed with autism and psychosis as a very young child and lives at a wonderful residential school.
Shannon is an autism and mental health advocate, as well as a former high school math teacher. Her experiences as a mother and her love of math inspired her to write her first children's book series, ADVENTURES IN SHAPELAND, which introduces young children to important concepts like feelings and emotions, while also teaching them basic geometric shapes!
Shannon is also an artist and enjoys abstract painting. She loves spending time with her family and six kitties: Mocha, Chip, Dorito, Moo Moo, Jasper and Poe.
Through Mini Muffin Books, Shannon's mission is to design mini coloring and activity books for children and adults that are educational, mentally stimulating, and the perfect size for travel!
